The Valais Film Commission returns to Cannes, where Switzerland will be the Pays d’Honneur.

May means Cannes Film Festival. This year, Switzerland will be the “Country of Honor” at the 77th edition of the festival, to be held from May 14 to 22, 2024. This opportunity will showcase the skills and opportunities that Switzerland has to offer to the global film industry.

Valais makes a comeback

Following the success of the Valais evening in 2023, the Valais Film Commission is delighted to return to the Croisette this year with the official selection of the stop-motion animated film “Sauvages”, directed by Claude Barras and shot in Valais. For the second year, the Valais is making its mark on the international film scene.
